Factory Refurbished PMV
These units are previously-used, previously-loved devices refurbished by our engineers here at the factory. If a device comes home to us and we determine that it’s still usable, our engineers do a full diagnostic, recalibration, and system update to make the unit ready for a new home and continued testing life. We don’t want these units to go to waste. Instead, we want to offer them to you at a discount.
 
There will be scuffs, scratches, discolorations, or other visual imperfections of varying degrees on the device, but it will still test and authenticate precious metals like any other PMV. Cosmetic defects do not affect the functionality of any PMV.
 
Refurbished devices come with a modified 2-year warranty. The warranty will not cover any visual defects but will fully cover any mechanical issues, internal component failures, and internal hardware or software workmanship problems.
 
All refurbished units come with all three available Wands, the case or carrying bag, charger, calibration disk, and manual. The case or carrying bag, charger, and manual will always be factory new. The Wands and calibration disk may or may not be factory new or part of the originally used unit, but only if they are in good, working condition.

We do not accept cosmetic returns for refurbished units. If you have concerns or questions about the cosmetic blemishes for the unit you are ordering, please contact us and we'd be happy to send photos of the specific unit you will receive.
 
Due to the infrequency of refurbished units being produced (people don’t usually return their PMVs!), this item is rarely restocked and we have a limit of one refurbished unit per customer.
