NOTE: The PMV PRO Database updater only works with PROs that have firmware version 2.05 or newer. If your PRO has an older version of the firmware, please contact us and we can arrange to update both your firmware and database.

Attempting to update a PRO with a firmware version older than 2.05 can result in damage to the device.

Sigma Metalytics will issue database updates for the PMV PRO. These database updates improve the PRO's ability to catch counterfeits and identify authentic pieces. 

We highly recommend users keep the their PRO updated to the latest database.
